Activities

I’m afraid Pam’s Pools cannot offer open access to visitors and Covid19 currently prevents large group events – previously the major source of income for the wildlife reserve.

So I’m hoping to provide a friendly and flexible range of activities for “family units” or “small groups”, all of which will need to be booked.

I’ve compiled a “Friends of Pam’s Pools” [ FOPP] email list to keep folk up-dated with what is on offer. Please email me on pamela.yuille@doctors.org.uk if you would like your name to be added or have any queries. All emails will be sent bcc for confidentiality and you can unsubscribe at any time. Please give a phone number if you would like me to ring you.

Some will be for volunteers and so free, such as hay-making, tree planting & apple pressing.

For others – wildlife tours or gardening lessons -we will ask for donations to the Bridgnorth Branch of SWT where we hold a ring-fenced fund for the development and maintenance of this site.

Mini Open Days 2021

On Monday 31st May and Sunday 13th June we will be having two smaller than usual open days at Pam’s Pools this year.

There will be:

Walking tours around the former quarry pit lakes which are now home to a number of wetland birds, including snipe and oystercatchers.

Plant sales, with a good selection of nectar rich plants for pollinators including over 10 varieties of beautiful Agapanthus

Refreshments, including the delicious Apostle coffee and homemade cakes, will be served at the Ecocabin

Entry by  ticket only. Adults £3 (plus small booking fee), children under 10 free.

Please book your preferred time slot HERE

All proceeds from ticket sales and the profits from the plant sales will go to the Bridgnorth Branch of Shropshire Wildlife Trust. In the event of cancellation you will be offered a full refund.
