Saturday 2nd March 2019

Mor Brook – a training session in river health monitoring 10am to 12.30.Meeting at the Eco-cabin at Pam’s Pools, where car-parking is available, and then heading down to Mor Brook for hands-on training by Pete Lambert, River Projects Manager, Shropshire Wildlife Trust.

Surveying this brook is our first step in restoring it for the benefit of all freshwater wildlife – insects, fish, birds and mammals.

Come and learn about this exciting new project. Afterwards there will be hot drinks and a chance to socialise in the eco-cabin so you may want to bring a packed lunch.Wellies required. SWT will provide nets etc. Sorry but no children or dogs.

SWT are organising a River Project event 10.00 am – 13.00. Details will be available on their website soon and all queries & booking to be done via them.

A “walk-over” along a length of Mor Brook as a further part of the above survey. Led by Pete Lambert, River Projects Manager, Shropshire Wildlife Trust. Meeting at the Eco- cabin at Pam’s Pools at 10.00 am. Sorry but no children or dogs. Further details to follow.

Monday 5th August 2019

Bat detection evening to be led by Dave Fulton in aid of the Bridgnorth branch of the Shropshire Wildlife Trust. Details nearer the time but note that places need to be booked as numbers are limited by how many bat-detectors we can borrow! If bad weather prevents this being held on the 5th, we will try again on the 12th.
